ThinkCyber is pleased to announce the appointment of Celine Mallet as the company’s new Marketing Director. Celine joins ThinkCyber from Cisco Security, where she led partner marketing across the EMEA region, focusing on Tier 1 partners and Cisco’s security portfolio.

With over 20 years of B2B marketing experience, including 12 years in the security and cyber security sectors, Celine has also held roles as an independent consultant and worked with distributors such as Exclusive Networks, partnering with major vendors like Fortinet and Juniper Networks.

Celine succeeds Clare Holmes, whose successful 10-month tenure as Fractional Chief Marketing Officer (FCMO) laid the foundations for the company’s marketing strategy, which Celine will now lead.

In her new role, Celine will work closely with the Sales, Product, and Customer teams at ThinkCyber to ensure alignment across all marketing strategies and drive cohesive messaging. She will bring her expertise to enhance the company’s marketing initiatives, collaborating with internal teams to support business growth and deliver value to customers.

Celine says: “I’ve always loved working in security and cyber security because I feel we’re all working towards a valuable common goal. I’ve seen the industry evolve and grow, and I’m really attached to it.”

She is particularly enthusiastic about ThinkCyber’s innovative approach to security awareness. “The human aspect of cyber security is particularly important to me. During my time at Cybsafe, I explored the security awareness space, and I believe there is so much more we can do to drive real behavioural change. That’s why ThinkCyber’s approach stood out. ThinkCyber is the only company that can nudge employees in real time, at the point of a potential risky behaviour. Combine that with their microlearning bites, and it’s clear ThinkCyber has a significant competitive advantage.”

“I think the potential for growth for ThinkCyber is undeniable and I really believe in it,” she adds.

Celine recognises the greater responsibility that comes with marketing, seeing it as more than just driving sales. “I think as marketers, we have a central role to play in this simplification process as marketing influences the technology as well as overall messaging and what’s being said about it across all marketing channels including the press and internally within the different companies they impact day to day.”

She continued, “I feel that our role and responsibility also lies in attracting new talents to cyber security as we all know the skill shortage is something the industry suffers from.”

Tim Ward, ThinkCyber CEO: "I'm really excited to have Celine on board, both her breadth of experience and her dynamism shone through when we first spoke, so I'm predicting great things!"

Outside of work, Celine’s life is just as dynamic as her career. She enjoys spending time with her family and their cat, Rio, who can often be found lurking in the background of video calls and has been known to walk on a desk or two! A wellness enthusiast, Celine practices breathwork, enjoys reading well-being books, and even hosts goal-setting parties – which she describes as “one of my favourite topics in the world after cyber security.”
