Conferences BigSASIG in London I was on the stage exploring the 5 mistakes when tackling the human aspect of cyber security. I also explored the behaviour science models that can tell us what we should be doing and offered actionable insights to apply to your organisation - be it large or small. ---------------------------- Speaking on stage with the amazing Charlotte Sinclair from Unilever was a privilege, we explored the topic “Forget traditional security awareness - your people already have”. We were the last talk of the day, competing with beer o’clock, and still had a packed auditorium. The only talk on the human factor all day - very much flying the (red)flag for this important aspect of cyber! ---------------------------- The Future of Cyber Conference in London |

Latest ArticlesDr Robert Cialdini spent his career researching what drives people to say “yes” to requests. The result of his research offers seven principles of persuasion. His principles have been adapted to Internet marketing, especially to drive conversion rates. This makes sense: after all, conversions are all about persuasions. When a user casually visits your website, you want to turn them into a shopper and then a buyer. As often happens, marketing and security awareness have much in common, and that’s true for these principles too. As we want to convert in Marketing, we want to change behaviour in awareness.
